Merry Christmas!

Christmas in Idaho was a blast this year. Highlights include, Olive Garden, eating way too much yummy homemade food, getting a new wardrobe, pedicure, cutting 7 inches off of my hair, sledding, going in my parent's hot tub, seeing Elise's face Christmas morning when she saw her Dora kitchen for the first time, Carter's horsey, getting a DVD system for the car, Daniel getting a GPS system from me, and getting all of the Twilight movies! Priceless! Hope everybody had a great Christmas!

5 Days and counting...

We're getting closer! We are going to try and head to Idaho earlier this week due to weather. Today we woke up to another foot of snow with schools and roads closed. First time school has been closed in 4 years. Hoping the weather improves here in the next day or so. Until then...Merry Christmas Everyone!

Kids are so excited!!!! (not sure why Carter is a little blurry)

10 Days and counting...

A little over a week to go and Christmas will be here. It's so fun as a parent to see Elise so excited for Christmas this year. This week we have been attending daily Christmas parties and events. Below are some pics of the kiddos showing off their Christmas spirit.

December is HERE!

I love Christmas! Growing up, Christmas was a special time in my family. I am enjoying passing down those traditions to my own family. This year we will be spending Christmas in Idaho. Elise is finally understanding the meaning of Christmas and how it works. Elf on the shelf is helping a lot too.
This past week was exhausting. Poor baby Carter couldn't kick the stomach bug he had. Eight days in we decided to take him to the doctor who then immediately admitted him to the hospital. After two days in the hospital, lots of fluids and gaining nearly two pounds, he was released and is doing much better.
This weekend we went to Salt Lake for my niece Esme's baby blessing. Then we drove to Evanston, Wyoming for another niece's baby blessing. All in all it was a fun busy weekend.

A Snowy Thanksgiving

This year Thanksgiving brought many snow storms, one after another. We spent the day eating lots of yummy food and playing in the snow. This week Carter has started waving and pointing. Elise has discovered "Frosty the Snowman" and requests to watch it daily. Good house is already decorated for Christmas and Christmas music on is a must. The countdown for Christmas in Idaho is on!

A Barn Wedding

This weekend Daniel's brother, Darren got married. Friends and family came for the occasion and got stuck in Wyoming due to winter weather and road closures. Enjoy some pics of the wedding. Elise actually let me curl ALL of her hair for the first time. She is posing with Dora who is wearing her matching dress.
