"Reunited and It Feels So Good..."

I got to take the kiddos for our annual Granat Reunion (Daniel had to work with the football team) for the weekend. We went swimming at Downata Hot Springs, which was amazing, I am in love with their slides!  The following day we went to the local movie theater where my mom had rented it out just for us. This included free popcorn and drinks, the kids were in heaven. Monroe of course got to go to her first movie (Elise and Carter were 3), so if she was a little fussy it was okay because it was just the Granat Family. :) I have to say that is definitely the way to see a movie. We saw the new Avengers movie which was fun because I hadn't gotten to see it yet. Afterwards we went to The Diner with our group of 26 which included a back private room for us. (Good work again Mom) We then spent the afternoon at my sister Lauren's house. The kids swam and we watched old family movies, it was a swell time :) I can't wait to go again. As for us it's that time of year again, school has started and the first official Aggie game is next week. Goodbye Summer and Hello Fall.

August Adventures

This past week I was able to take the kiddos on a hike, they had a dental check up and best of all my sister Kirse and nephew Sullivan came to visit. We went to the Aquatic Center, the Zoo, Aggie Ice cream, and the Tabernacle. It was way fun! We then got to go to Idaho for the Granat Family Reunion. We have been busy busy busy. Until next time...

Walker Family Reunion

Monroe is now 9 months old and weighs 26 pounds! Our biggest baby :) She has moved up to a size 5 diaper, is eating 7 ounces per feeding, loves baby food, is crawling everywhere, has 6 teeth and puts everything in her mouth. Mostly she loves just being around people, she never likes to be left alone, a very social girl. :) She can now officially wave, high five and can give a mean scowl. She can pull herself up on furniture and step side to side. I am secretly hoping that the big step of walking will take a few more months. Elise and Carter both walked at 9 months and I am hoping Monroe isn't as adventurous as they were. Ha ha! Last week we went to Daniel's family Reunion in Wyoming. This was my longest camping trip to date. It was fun to meet new people (Daniel's Mom's side the Walkers). The kids got to ride horses, go swimming at the reservoir, play volleyball, go on nature walks, make smores, ride four wheelers, play horseshoes, make lots of crafts, play soccer, but mostly I think they liked being able to get dirty and play outside for days. Monroe was such a trooper, she would sleep anywhere, didn't complain about the heat and she even got to try some new foods.  Yay Monroe! I however had such a sore arm from carrying her everywhere for days and days. Oh well. All in all it was a good time. Until next time.

This happy girl is off the charts fabulous! 110% for weight and 95th for height! Way to aim high girl! These 9 months have flown by!

Daniel had a mishap at work while helping to move some furniture. The top hutch on a desk fell off and slammed his hand into a wall. Ouch! Result a bad break on his pinkie.
All three kiddos asleep on our way to Wyoming. Our car was full to the max
