"Christmas Time is Near..."

We are getting so excited for Christmas this year. Last year was our first year doing it on our own. It was really fun, however when we found out that my parents were going to be solo for the first time we decided that we will go to Idaho for Christmas. The kids are excited and I am happy that each of my kids will have spent their first Christmas at Grammy and Skipper's house. The house is decorated inside and out, Santa letters have been mailed, shopping is complete, the kids have visited Santa and we are also doing 25 days of service for 25 days in December. Each day we talk to the kids about something we can do together or that they can do individually for someone else. So far it has been really fun and the kids are really into it. Until next time...Happy Holidays!

Santa Visit: The more kids, the harder it is to get a "perfect picture" but I have decided that is okay. Monroe was scared of Santa until he gave her a candy cane. Elise did great, Carter was Carter and Quincy was just perfect.

Santa held him for almost 15 minutes, so sweet

Mailed off their letters

Silly faces with Santa
"The stockings were hung..."
Tree is decorated
Outside is decorated
Monroe wanted me to wrap her too while wrapping Christmas presents
Ready for our Ward Christmas Party

This is what Quincy thought of the party
Kids played a song with wind chimes
